Disappearing draft prospects
Why do some prospects I've been scouting disappear when draft day rolls around? I have a pitcher I've scouted fully who looks to be an A potential guy but when I reach draft day he isn't there to select. And he wasn't taken earlier. I checked. He's just not there...

Re: Disappearing draft prospects
That's what I was wondering too. He's also an international prospect. So I don't if that changes anything. And I did discover him. He was fully scouted and still had an 80 potential rating

Re: Disappearing draft prospects
Lots of guys you scout don't show up in the draft, but they'll be there when you start scouting the next season and will eventually show up in a draft. If you save your franchise the day before the draft and load it multiple times, you'll actually have different guys available to draft each time. I don't know exactly why this is, but it's always been that way.Comment

Re: Disappearing draft prospects
That is totally feasible to me if they are younger than 22, however the 22 year old blue chips missing is crazy. its the equivalent of someone like Kris Bryant deciding to go into real estate instead of playing ball.Comment
