Nearly all the Blue Chip players disappearing from the draft?

Is anyone seeing this? I started a Franchise with the Reds and I have the 2nd pick so its not like they are all getting picked by other teams. When I get to the draft almost everyone I scouted is now missing. This is including top rated guys that are 21-22 so there isnt a "going back to college" thing for them.

There is another thread about this somewhere but it does happen. It might be fixed with a patch or it also might not. I remember somebody saying even though players disappear they somehow reappear in the next draft for availability.

This would have to be fixed from a patch. I would find it hard for there to be a work around for this. Here's one thread similar to your problem: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...prospects.html

Like Jr. stated with his post below this won't be patched but do what he said to get it like want it.

Not all players that are scouted will show up in the draft. They will be back in the scouting pool next year (though you don't need to re-scout them). It's been like this in the game for a few years now. It won't be patched as it's a design decision.

There isn't really a work around, but you can just quit and reload your franchise until you get a number of the blue-chip prospects in there that you feel more comfortable with.

        It's just the game design.

Yes I'm not happy about it.

The bigger issue for me (a first time Show player) is having such a large possible draft pool, rosters with 90 spots on them, but yet such a short draft.

Or the fact all the good players are pitchers... I need fielders too!
