Re: MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.04 Available Now, Here Are The Details
Yeah that's the osd i want shown after a batter's 1st ab and how it was in all previous versions of the show, disappointing to hear it is random, not shown on all osd's. I have played 3 games in my franchise since the patch and have not seen the osd with the season avg/hr/rbi stats on 2nd,3rd ect. at bats. I am still early in my franchise and still getting 2015 stats shown during 1st AB.
There is a issue that sometimes on a batters 1st ab it would show the stat line on the bottom but it would be blank, not sure if the 2 issues are linked.Comment

Kind of wish they updated Jemile Weeks. He hasn't had dreads for 3 years now in real life.Comment

IMO...you're not the only one.
It's just that there have been gripe threads opened over every single issue some are having and the impression thread has turned into a personal diary of some for any problem/gripe they have with the game.
It just magnifies the same amount of bugs/glitches we have every year in just about every game so it seems like much more.(and IMO it's done with purpose....another story though)

While its not just that but like this whole thread is nothing but complaints. Hard to know what has even been fixed by what people are saying. Ever post is just like this game sucks, it has to many bugs ect.Comment

This should be fixed but I really don't understand why people want to start RTTS on DD. I mean if you start on DD in RTTS the game is going to be to easy in till you get up to the right difficulty any way which is going to make your stats to good. That would be like starting a franchise on DD at rookie and for the first like 20 games or so hitting way to well because you are playing at a low difficulty in till it movies up to the right difficulty. I would think people would want to play a good amount of games in till DD gets to around the right difficulty for there skill and then start a franchise or RTTS. Why do people want to mess up stats like that by having the game to easy to start?Comment

I think when you start with it in DD you are expecting to find that balance by the time you get to the majors where your stats start to really matter. This should be fixed but I really don't understand why people want to start RTTS on DD. Edit: Also, jumped from beginner to rookie in one game with DD then no adjustments once it hit rookie.Last edited by thedudedominick; 05-03-2016, 02:08 AM.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Re: MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.04 Available Now, Here Are The Details
That's by design - it doesn't allow you to advance more than one level per game. For the next game it should allow you to move to Rookie+ if you're still knocking the cover off the ball.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.04 Available Now, Here Are The Details
I think the game is the best version ever but part of the reason is the way I play it. Offline season / classic & assisted base running / have not downloaded 1.04 / and life is good.
However I do understand the angst that others are feeling; this year's release seems to have more issues that could impact folks than prior years...Comment

For whatever reason, or reasons, I simply can't get into this version of the game. I don't know if it's the new lighting or camera angles or what but I'm just not digging it. The new patch added some things missing in RTTS, which is the only mode I play, but not enough to make up for whatever it's missing. The player yells through the controller has been fixed but it doesn't add to the experience at all. It's just more noise. The freeze before a pickoff attempt is terrible, and it seems that every outfielder in the minors has an arm equal to Pieg. Fix those issues in the next patch and things might improve.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.04 Available Now, Here Are The Details
Is the "level modifier" still activate in RTTS?
AA: -1 from the stated level
AAA: as your stated level
ML: +1 to your stated level
So if DD puts you at, say, All-Star and you're at the majors, you're effectively on HoF when you're really an All-Star hitter according to the system?
If that's the case, it seems counter productive/conflicting systems."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Dynamic is not affected by that. It's always the stated difficulty level regardless of which part of the organization (AA, AAA, or MLB) you're at. Beginner is the same as well.Is the "level modifier" still activate in RTTS?
