Example: I was having a great game, shutout, 11 strikeouts, but I was up to 116 pitches and tired. 8th innning. Went up to 121 and gave up a hit, another hit, then a HR. THEN I get pulled. Sure wish he'd pulled me and put in the closers at the beginning of the 8th! Does the CPU manager not take number of pitches into account?
I've experienced the same in RTTS. My guess is it's programmed to allow you to go extra-long to get the shutout. While I appreciate the intent, most of the time it results in me pitching with 0% energy and getting shelled.

I'm tired of seeing "his first major league home run". Just had a guy hit his 2nd home run of the game on me and on the 2nd it was supposedly his first career HR? And the home run camera needs to go. What's up with that? Used to be able to turn that off, now I cannot.

I don't want to turn them off, just have them integrated into the other sounds coming from my speakers.
Have you tried playing with headphones? If you play with headphones and have the ps4 send all audio to the headphones, both the game audio and the yells will come through the same source. Plus, playing with the headphones is a more realistic experience since the sounds appear to be coming all around you as opposed to just out of the tv (unless, of course, you have surround sound). I've been thinking about taking the commentary audio off and move one step closer to an on-the-field sim experience.
