I do this far too often, assume the runner in front of me will advance another base and we both end up standing on second or third.

If we advance that should force the other player to advance

That assumption is why this happens IRL, too.

Forgetting that there are less than two outs and sending my runners on fly balls.

          Happens all the time. :/

Lead off with a runner who was already leading off the base by himself, against a friend.. He picked me off .. It was the bottom of the 15th lol

I won in the bottom of the 17th.. Freaking game lasted 2 hours or more

I'm usually the opposite - forgetting that there are two outs and not running. It does me cost me runs on occasion.

It's funny because I basically never forget to send the runners on 3-2 with 2 outs.

But at least in the game the coding can make it happen.

In RTTS, I've tried to steal 2nd without realizing that there was already a baserunner on 2nd. Probably 10 times.

In RttS, successfully legged out a legit triple, idiot teammate stayed on third. Got called out on the relay, but it was still scored a triple! I guess that is more an idiot ai mistake.

Also accidentally threw to third with runners on the corners, two outs, and the man on first stealing second. Throw went into left, ricocheted off the wall and went all the way to the warning track. Gave up two runs. Should have just let the dude have the base anyway as I had the batter in an 0-2.

Running the bases and forgetting how many outs there are. And hitting a gapper and thinking all the way thats a double

In MLB 15, I forgot to go back in and sign my draft picks in time. I remembered before the season was over, but it was too late. In the off-season, I had to re-sign a bunch of older, D rated minor league players I otherwise would have non-tendered just so my Roster had enough players. I ended up abandoning that franchise, I was trying to rebuild the Twins. Hard to rebuild when you don't sign your draft picks.

I tend to send guys to 3rd from 1st with two outs on shallow hits to left field just because. It never works. I know better, but it doesn't stop me.

I just pulled a good one. I'm winning 6-0 in the bottom of the 9th. My starter got into a little trouble in the 8th so I got my set-up man ready. I struck out the first 2 batters in the 9th so for some unknown reason I figured I would sit down the set up man but I was playing an interleague game with the DH so the double switch option wasn't there so when I quickly went through the BP options I brought the setup man in! So much for the complete game shutout.

Pressing up on the right stick after a hit (like I'm guiding the runner to first) resulting in a head first slide into first base. ( lost Brandon Moss for 2 months due to him sliding into first for no reason)

Everyone knows that Nick Markakis has a cannon of an arm. And my stupid self decided it was a good idea to test his arm for a second time and i'm thinking to myself what was i thinking?
