This part of the game really is pathetic. John Mabry has been a Cardinals' coach for four years and he's not been in once. Same for Mark McGwire for the six years he was a hitting coach. I'm not sure why the developers won't let us edit the coaches. Would be nice to have a full coaching staff (Bench, Bullpen, & Asst. Hitting) as well as minor league coaches to promote.

Next years game definitely needs the ability to add/edit coaches just like we can with all CAP. Imagine an OSFM roster with full minors and correct coaching staffs.

That would be nice. It will cost SDS extra money. You can't edit real life names period. That Ea Sports vs. Ed O'bannon took care of that. Everybody deserves and wants to get paid for likeness or using their name world wide.

No, he won't be added until next year. Such has been the same for coaches in previous games that were missing.

I don't know about that..John Farrell in the show has never looked like John Farrell in real life..at least while managing the Sox

I think the real reason is there's not enough demand from the casual player to implement this.
Mayhaps some time in the future, when SDS has polished the other things higher on their priority, then they'll work on what the repeat customer is interested in.

I think the real reason is there's not enough demand from the casual player to implement this.
Mayhaps some time in the future, when SDS has polished the other things higher on their priority, then they'll work on what the repeat customer is interested in.

I see editing coaches and being able to view other teams coaching staffs coming in the very near future. Franchise mode got some love this year, I expect it to get more next year, and the years beyond that.

It takes a full year to get coaches in usually, if you remember it took about 2 years before Brad Ausmus was on the game even though he was an ex player and they had his player model.

I am not even sure why Dusty Baker model is not on the Nationals since he was on there previous games as the Reds manager. I myself been wanting editable coaches and older ex players available to sign as coaches that have retired kinda like Madden use to have.

This year Dave Roberts and Andy Green got in their first year as manger. I was pretty surprised by it. However, the Mariners new manger Servais didn't get in. Roberts was the last manager hired too.

Yeah, he looks horrible. I'm not fond of how Gibby looks for the Jays either.

John Gibbons has never looked even remotely close to himself, however his pitching coach, Pete Walker, is spot on.

They also screwed up Mike Maddux this year. He was pretty spot on in the past too.

It also kills me how Sandy Alomar Jr. and Matt Williams always have hair in the game. They have always had shaved heads.
