    Arenado or Machado

I've been going back in forth about which young 3b player I wanted to do a franchise with. Can't seem to make a dang decision. I played 3rd and love the position so that's why I'm stuck. Any suggestions, points or thoughts would be greatly appreciated

    Re: Arenado or Machado

Well. Honestly. I've used both and I can't hit with either and I'm a pretty good hitter on this game. I play on HoF and use zone and I've played with The Show since the first game. Idk. Maybe it's just me! If I were you I'd do Machado based on his fielding alone. Has a cannon.

I'd go with Machado on account of that gold glove and howitzer arm.

I think they both have multiple gold gloves. Machado arm is stronger tho

Machado is probably gonna want $5mill a year more than Arenado after 2016 & he has slighlty higher upside over Nolan too. Plus Manny is quicker & runs the bases better too, I vote Manny.

It's looking like most like Machado. Any positive or votes for Nolan lol?

In the real world I would go with Arenado. The things he can do out there on 3rd are just unbelievable, plus he can hit. Unfortunately in this game, the same unbelievable "I can't believe he just did that" magic simply does not exist.

Lol so true. I think this would be a no brainier for me if Colorado pitching staff didn't suck. But you have to make moves to get any quality pitchers on board

                  Re: Arenado or Machado

I admit to being a Machado fanboy in MLBTS.

That said, I think Arenado is Machado with more power - or at least a less split bat (in OSFM anyway, Machado is lower vsL while Arenado is strong both ways).

So I think I'd take Arenado...but if I have to choose between them...talk about having a high-quality problem!

So...both. Move Machado to SS. Problem solved

Okay, maybe not...unless you actually have both.

Another plus for Manny is, if you have to, you can play him at short,
while with Nolan, it's third or bust.

Why not cover boy Josh Donaldson?

He's a beast but I just like Nolan and Manny more. Not a big fan of the jays but Donaldson is a great player

As Metric says, "The Beatles or the Rolling Stones"? Arenado for me, though. He'll make Scott Rolen look like Brett Wallace by the time he's done.

Arenado is my guy. Freakish defense game, crazy power for a 25 year old. Fun to watch.
