I believe SCEA does it this way to control the number of MLB caliber players in future years in the franchise. I would rather have MLB play at realistic levels than have more minor league levels with hundreds of worthless players in each organization.

exactly the reason i only use 3 or 4 levels of minor leagues in ootp. its annoying to have to "manage" many levels worth of players who will never have the slightest shot at the big leagues, not to mention a waste of time. i agree with you.

Are all drafted players fully editable or not?

They are mostly editable. I didn't check out every single aspect, but I did do some test runs on most of the elements. The only thing that disappoints me is that you can't take a P and make them a position player or vice versa. But that's about the extent of the limitations.

Good. Thanks for checking into this for me buddy. I figured you couldn't change a P into a position player & vice versa but it would be nice if we could.
