    RTTS Difficulty Levels?

Someone told me yesterday that the difficulty levels are actually one below what it says. So If you play on Veteran you are really on beginner or rookie I forget whats below Veteran. Is this true? Ive been playing my right fielder and hes hit .350 to .400 for the first two months of the AA season and I get that AA is pretty easy to hit but my guy is only a 60 OVR 64 OVR with all equipment. So am I really playing on a lower difficulty because I want this to be as real as possible.

Or who has realistic sliders, difficulty level that they are willing to share?

    NHL - Blackhawks

    Close. Not quite.

The difficulty you set the game at on RTTS will be the level you play at when you're in AAA.

When you're in AA, you are playing on one level below that. When you are in the Majors, you are one level above that. And when you are in AAA, you are obviously right at that level.

So if you set the difficulty level to Veteran, when you are in AA you will actually be hitting on Rookie, when you're in AAA you will be on Veteran, and when you're in MLB you'll be on All-Star.

Also... this was the case in the past, but I'm not entirely sure that I've seen any confirmation for 16 that this is still in the game. So this could all be moot. It was definitely the case on 13, 14, 15.

      Check this out: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...confusion.html

I made that thread last year, but it still applies to this year's game.

        Re: RTTS Difficulty Levels?

If you're in AA then yes, your actual difficulty level is one below the one you selected (except on dynamic). Once reach AAA it goes up one level to the one you select, and at the MLB level it goes up one more time.

You can counter this by changing the level when you promote/demote. If you want to play on consistent Veteran, start on All-star in AA, and move down from there as you move up the organization.

Ok so just so I have this right.

Selected Veteran in AAA is playing on Veteran

Yes, except for AA being just Rookie, not Beginner. Beginner is its own level (and, like Dynamic, it's unaffected by this difficulty shift).

You're probably asking "why do this?" Only the devs know for sure, but I believe it's to make the climb seem even more rewarding. They want people to breeze through AA, better themselves and their player at AAA, and find a true challenge in MLB. There are definitely those among us who would prefer to stay on one consistent level though, and that's why it's good we can change difficulties anytime.
