    Roster Manual Control

So finally got around to starting an offline franchise.
Started a new one with OSFM 2.5 40 man. Everything is set on manual except scouting. Before ST I did a couple trades and roster moves. Simulated through ST. Went to play first game and looked at my line up. Noticed I had three SS on my bench. Started looking around and my roster and all farm rosters had changed. Looked at the Transactions log and the CPU had totally rearranged my roster with send downs and options.

Went back to check the Mode Specific settings and they were all still at manual.

Started a new franchise with the Live Rosters and still the CPU is making changes.

    Am I missing something here???

Make sure that that is the profile associated with your team.

I have only one profile. I've set my File Association to beginner for the team I'm controlling.

Is that what you are talking about?

        create two profiles.

one is yours - name "human"

29-other teams have the other profile. - name "cpu"

        go to "set team association"

choose your team with your profile and the cpu teams with the other profile.

            No - in-game.

At Main Menu, go to Options - User Settings

Current profile (Beginner, etc) is displayed at the top, can change with L1/R1

Can create/delete additional profiles from there.

In that USER SETTINGS section...you will see a SET TEAM ASSOCIATION option.
Make sure that either the profile that you have everything manual is the one your team has or that the one your team has actually has the mode settings to manual for the options you want.

....and what Matrix stated as well for 30 team control.

Okay, I went in and renamed my default profile to my name. Just to make sure I knew what I was looking at. For the halibut I created a CPU profile and set that to all auto.
Made sure that the team association was set to my name. Rosters are still being manipulated. It doesn't happen with OSFM 25 man team rosters though, only 40.

I'm sorry.....I just reread your initial post.

You must either be not sending down 15 players from your 40 man roster BEFORE Spring Training ends and you start the regular season and/or you have someone in your lineups/rotations that is not on the 25 man roster if you did send down 15 players.

                      Before the regular season advancement

-Make sure you only have 25 players on the ACTIVE roster
-Make sure you have your lineups/rotations filled with only players from the 25 man active roster

Any time from ST to REG season you "force" the CPU to make any move(like sending any players to the minors from the 40 man roster...during Spring Training ALL of your 40 man roster players are considered active on the MLB roster) it will reset anything it sees a need to.

                      M.K.

                        Roger that.

I'll double check that before I end ST.

                        Thanks Knight.
