2 important questions I have about using "stride" with total analog

The "Game Controls" menu option only seems to address "flick" hitting when it comes to its Pure Analog instructions instead of "stride". Which leaves me to ask...

Question #1: Does the direction I send the right stick when using stride have any effect "direction in zone" like when using flick?

Question #2: Does the left stick have any effect on the swing or hit if using pure analog? (Like influencing ground and fly balls)

I use zone analog with stride so I'm not sure about question 2. I believe the answer to question 1 though is no the direction you "follow through" with your swing after the stride doesn't effect or influence the direction of the hit.

You aren't using zone I'm assuming? I know that obviously question 2 wouldn't apply for zone. I'm not sure if you can effect or influence ground balls or fly balls when not using zone and stride but I don't think you can.

        1. No the stride is just the stride. pull back and push up. x for normal swing. o for contact, and square for power. .2. You do not need to use the left stick for anything when using pure analag. Are you aware that to influence the ball to be pulled/pushed/up/down is used with the right stick and r2?

Is this still the case? in previous years the controller would rumble after choosing the influence type. I use zone analog with stride and using r2 and right stick no longer works.

Can someone confirm this still works? I'm hitting into a crap load of double plays so influencing my hits would greatly help
