He was likely talking season/franchise, which didn't track Y2Y stats beyond very basic (e.g. AVG HR RBI) until this year. I don't play much RTTS, but from what I remember it was the same thing for everyone besides your own player (meaning while you could see your own walks from a previous year, you wouldn't see them for your teammates).Comment

Yes I can finally send runners from second to home again by aiming the R stick and pressing X. Now if the catcher is tagging all the runners at home plate my 2 biggest issues are fixed.

Re: MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Patch Notes Included
As mentioned yesterday, MLB The Show 16 patch 1.05 is available now, weighing in at 42 MB. No details are available yet, but let us know what you are seeing.
When the patch notes arrive, we will update this post.
UPDATE: Patch notes are here.- Addressed issues with Cloud saves introduced in patch 1.04. All Cloud Saves should now work properly.
- Fixed classic base running, affected by patch 1.04.
- Online Action shot/card downloading now fixed.
- Weather in RTTS now updates correctly with Advance Day.
- Addressed an issue with lead off runners in online game-play. The batting team should now see their base runners leading off when they press L1.
- Fixed some issues with "L2 + base icon" to control the runner in RTTS.
- Off season free agent logic was not estimating budget room correctly because it was not accounting for staff salary. This caused teams to inaccurately set the max salary they could offer. This should now be fixed.
- Fixed issue where the xp earned in game was showing instead of the amount of stubs earned in game when returning to the front-end menu. This created a lot of confusion with users assuming they weren't earning stubs. Stubs earned are now being shown instead of XP.
- Fixed game settings not getting reset when exiting conquest and playing Extra Innings games. Extra Innings games should now be 9 innings in all cases, as intended.
- The calendar start times in Show Live should now display accurately.
- Challenge friends in online games should now apply all correct settings.
- Fixed a Sounds of the Show crash when attempting to delete music files after trying to import 520+ files.
- Various other bug fixes.

Re: MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Patch Notes Included
It seems our old friend, Challenge Failed, has yet again invited itself to the party. It appears to be happening in waves, meaning, some are affected by it but not all.
At 3 AM PDT Wednesday 5/18 we're going to be restarting the servers in an attempt to alleviate the problem. The restart will take approximately 1 hour. Please avoid games during that time.
As always, I'll update when I can.
Thanks.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Patch Notes Included
Noticed yesterday when I played with my RttS character that no matter what my settings are as far as RttS opportunities go, it will treat it as you watch everything. Meaning, I hit a double with a runner on first and the runner stopped at third. The next at-bat is shown...the problem with that is is that I have the option of only showing the AB if I am the lead runner and I clearly wasn't with a runner at third and I was at second. The player at-bat made the third out and the inning was over. It then goes to my RttS player in the field...expect, I have the RttS fielding opportunities set to "none" so I should not see that. I use the "next appearance" option in the menu and sim to my next AB. I make an out and the next thing that happens is my player in the dugout watching the next player AB. I play the rest of this game thinking it was just a fluke. I go to the next game in the series and the same thing is happening. I've had these same settings since like '12 so I know it has always worked.
Hopefully I explained that well.est 1978

Re: MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Patch Notes Included
1. Since the patch, I haven't had any baserunning issues as I did before. Before the patch, I had the issue a few times where the runner would try to take an extra base when my fielder AT THAT BASE was holding the ball, only to be out by 60 feet. That hasn't happened since this newest patch.
2. Since the new patch dropped, I've seen 3 checked swings. Two were called balls, one a strike. I hadn't seen ANY called strikes before, so I assume they fixed something.
3. Why has NO ONE mentioned Rotations and Lineups going back to default after a roster move is made? I will change my pitching rotation and lineups around, but every single time I make a roster move, all of my lineups and pitching rotation are reset and I have to make them all over again. I haven't seen one person make this bug report.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Patch Notes Included
Has anyone had a walk off hit by a player charged as a Fielder's Choice out and an RBI. Had this happen to my RttS player and funny enough I had thought I extended my hitting streak to 12 games only to realize it didn't count in the end of the game as a hit.Comment
