All Players Status says Bench

Hello,

Not sure if this is from the latest patch (1.05), but all my MLB starters show a status of bench in my franchise. This is affecting moral for all my guys. Anyone else have this issue?

It is a known issue that happens on occasion.

Two ways to "fix":

1) Just keep playing and it will fix itself. From my experience it happens when there is a roster move made.

2) Disconnect from the internet while playing. This worked for me when I did it.

I've always had it fix itself the next day in the game.

Well I did make a change to the starting rotation. I'll see if it corrects itself later on, thanks for your help.

Countryboy I actually had a different experience - This actually started happening to me once I disconnected from the internet, not vice versa.

Went home to my parents house 2 weekends ago and as I loaded up the game (without my PS4 connected to wifi), I noticed this happening. Went back to my house the next day and connected to my wifi before loading up the game and everything was back to normal.

Either way, try connecting/disconnecting to the PS network and it should be back to normal

The one time I've seen this I convinced myself it was because the lineups had a platoon situation at the SS position. Are people seeing it in situations where a player is a true starter? And I was seeing it in 1.04 as well.

Ah sorry I can't remember, but I don't think I did. I noticed it during week 2 of my franchise so I don't think I was moving anybody through the minor leagues/MLB during that time.

It's so strange to me that the internet connection causes this issue in offline franchises.. Doesn't make any sense.

Yeah when I saw this, all of my players on my MLB roster were showing as "bench", even Maikel Franco who was batting cleanup, Herrera who was hitting leadoff. My pitchers were effected also, Aaron Nola who was my Ace was showing as "bullpen". Really strange!

Same thing happened to me the entire season. I'm in the off-season now, hopefully it will reset and work properly for next season.

Its not 100% certainty that the internet connection actually causes/fixes the issue. Just something that was found and appeared to have worked. Could be a random glitch that happens for one reason or another.

Each time I've noticed it, I have made a roster move or made changes to my lineup or starting rotation, or bullpen.

Nope, I started a new one. I haven't tried the disconnecting from the internet thing, and I didn't check it frequently because it seemed to work like it should when I went into a game.
