Who else wants to see these new features in the future?
Baserunners running out of the baselines and being called out. Also seeing batters hit by a ball while running the bases, resulting in an out. This would be a nice addition to gameplay, and it would give more of a variety like you see in the real game of baseball. You see so many different and unexpected things occurring. I would love to see this in the future. I want to hear your thoughts and anything related to this. It would also be cool to see managers run on the field and yell at the umpire in a crucial situation resulting in the manager's ejection. I think that would really make a difference with the way gameplay works.Tags: None -

I'd like to be able to use the rosin bag during the game, maybe add 1pt on control.T-BONE.

they have been asked many times because the MLB wont let them add it in. a lot of features people want they dont have in the game are probably because MLB wont allow it. its unfortunate but thats the way it is.Toronto Blue Jays

SCEA has only said that about the fights and brawls that occur, not about anything else.Comment

I've never heard this. Can you cite your source? I don't see why anything would be wrong with them. I remember they had rainouts back in MLB 2K franchise mode, as well.PSN: Moss394463Comment

Would also be a way to "catch your breath" without using up a mound visit.
Along that lines, more times for the catcher (perhaps a hidden rating) to go out and try to settle the pitcher down with the chance to have a "mini mound visit effect" on confidence."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

To be honest they should take a year off and fix all the things that are broken before adding new stuff.Comment

This is something that I have wanted for years. Imagine being in your franchise or season mode playing through the rain and suddenly you receive some type of indication that a rain delay was called leading into all kinds of cool animations of the players and some time filler commentary. Then after that you either return back to your game with some time transition or you find out that your game has been called and is now part of a double header. I know that adds nothing necessarily to gameplay but it would be awesome nonetheless. Also, outfielders colliding as they track a fly ball would be a cool addition. It's pretty cheesy when they should obviously run into each other on the current game and the collision detection system in place doesn't allow it to happen. I'm sure from the developers side of things that is way harder to accomplish than I realize but I think that would be cool as well.Comment

I had a ball that the LF, CF, and SS were going after. I was fully expecting someone to run into each other and probably get any injury.
I almost gave someone an injury anyway after the game."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Batters occasionally fouling ball off of foot with a small chance of injury would be nice.Comment

All I really want is the ability to choose a windup and stretch animation separately and the ability to have different batting stances for each side of the plate for switch hitters.Comment
