I was winning by 1 run prior to this 5 run inning by the Reds. I don't believe in the mysterious thing that I will not mention, so this is not about that at all. I have only had something like this happen when using dynamic difficulty. It's never been this bad, but I've seen some really bad innings. I've never seen anything like this when not using dynamic difficulty and I've played over 50 games of my franchise so far.

Awesome half inning!!
All of these happened in ONE half inning in the middle of the game. None of these were scored as errors in the game. The reason that really bugs me is if you are playing on dynamic difficulty then these all go down as earned runs. I went from All-Star+ to Veteran- in this half inning. There was another one but I didn't record it. Cruz took 2 steps in before turning around the watch the ball go over his head to the warning track.

Re: Awesome half inning!!
Well, I feel your pain, but I have to say #2 is pretty much just a hit; I actually really like when that animation plays. Don't look at it like it's an error; ball was smoked and took a funny hop. It happens.
Likewise with #4 - yeah the double-clutch sucks but that probably should qualify as deep enough to score the run anyway.
The other three, yeah, and all five combined in the same inning would have had me pretty steamed too.
Whether this is somehow related to Dynamic Difficulty I have no idea. I don't use DD and I've seen all the same stuff. Not in the same inning though.
I will say I allowed 9 ******* runs in the first inning with Jordan Zimmerman in my last game, en route to a 15-3 loss. Just hit after hit after hit and ******* hit. Second time in 10 games I've allowed 15+ runs. Guess my point in mentioning that is, does it really matter if you're getting wonky animations or not? Would you rather they were just clean-*** hits? The end-result is the same either way.
I just tend to look the other way at this stuff and trust the scorekeeper. If it wasn't scored an error, then it was a hit; ignore how it played out in terms of animation and just move along accepting the result. Not sure anything else can be done if you want to keep your sanity. -
Re: Awesome half inning!!
I think the main reason for my post was more of a. lol
Just sharing my frustration for those that may have seen something similar. I wasn't blaming anything. It may have just been a fluke game. I know not all were errors but at the time I was like 'what the...', 'did he just....', 'did he just again?' I can look back on it now and laugh.Comment

Re: Awesome half inning!!
I have had innings like this work for me and against me. Generally they worked for me on Dynamic Difficulty. Would get an infield single with Altuve or Gomez then a bloop that gets Altuve to 3rd. Strong grounder right past the short stop.
Other times it has worked against me. I remember towards the beginning of the year I had like an 8-2 lead in a game I was playing and I allowed 5 runs in the top of 9th inning. Granted I was in a rush to get the game over with as I had to be somewhere but still.
But yeah I have a lot of "Did he just do that" moments. Generally I have a few a game but generally they dont end up costing me runs. (Though sometimes they do and in close games it sucks)"Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion!"
