I am going to start my Chicago cubs franchise and was wondering what is the best roster and sliders to use to get the most realistic experience of the game? i am pretty good but not an expert at any means so if anyone could help me with the most realistic roster and sliders as well as difficulty. thanks in advance

No one can decide for you which sliders to use.
It is personal to YOU. Start in the middle and see what happens. You will likely have to play several test games to get any sense of where you need to be. There is no One Right Answer.
If you are very, very concerned with "realistic" results, play in Manager-Only-Mode perhaps?[Insert clever, personally-relevant, or cutting-edge remark, data, link, or picture]Comment

There are now quite a few roster sets available. Of course, OSFM V3 & now V3.5 are really solid rosters. Then you have the OSFM Hybrid V1 set. Also, there is the SBFM(Simulation Baseball Full Minors) V1 set as well.
The Hybrid roster guys have suggested some sliders to use for their set. You would have to search thru that thread to get them.Or, you could just go to the Sliders forum & pick one for any roster set.
You really can't go wrong with any of these rosters. It's what your preferences are that it comes down to in choosing one. Look at each roster set thread at the 1st posts. This tells you what's involved in each set. Make a decision based on that. Thanks!
