      I had a ball bounce off the bottom of the wall and instead of fielding the ball normally the outfielder just ran into the wall. The play stopped and it was ruled a ground rule double even though the ball never left the field.

        A few years ago (either MLB 2012 or 2013) I hit one off the top of the RF wall in Busch Stadium and was awarded a home run.

          I've had plenty of foul balls that were scored as homers. I've also had several balls that were scored as ground-rule doubles that shouldn't have been. Most recently, at Petco, I gave up a ground-rule double on a line drive that hit the side of that brick building, to the foul side of the paint/pole. It actually broke up a no-hitter, which ended up a complete game 1-hit shutout.
