New attribute
We need a pickoff rating. For example Julio Teheran would have a high etc 90 while Jon Lester would have a 15

re: New attribute
My Top 5 Most Wanted (no particular order) :
1) pickoff rating
2) catcher frame rating
3) pitcher splits for power & contact vs left & right
4) potential rating split into offense & defense
5) an attribute for spay hits to all fields, a zero rating would be for pure dead pull hitters and players you'd have your defense extreme shift for. a 99 rating would be for those who hit to all fields evenlyT-BONE.

I don't know if we wanting to be spaying things on the field (would put a damper on those "Bring Your Pet to the Park" type promos), but that last idea would be interesting. In theory, we have the spray charts but I don't know what they do, even for CPU hitters. They seem to go against the shift easily, even against offspeed inside.
Love the ideas. Adore them. Either do #5 (hidden rating?) or make the Spray Charts actually influence hitters. Make it the tendency for the CPU (i.e. they'll try to swing in X way to hit to Y field a Z percent of the time on the chart), or influence ability (I don't think it's stupidity or just pure stubbornness as to why pull guys keep pulling vs the shift).
Didn't we used to have a pickoff rating as a hidden attribute to pitchers (or perhaps tied to their deliveries)?"Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment
