Year 1 Brock Holt finishes batting just under .300 after playing half a season on my A's. So far in 2017 he can't get back there at all because he goes 0-4 with lineouts and flyouts. I'm sticking with him though because I don't really have much else to turn to right now in my rebuild since most players behind him and in the organization are far from MLB ready.

Re: Unluckiest Player?
when I started my Jays 'chise in 14, my worst player offensively by far was Jose Reyes. I knew it was bad luck though. He CONSTANTLY got solid contact, it was always right at someone though. I kept sticking with him, and all year he continued to hit extremely low numbers. I sank him to the bottom of the order, because hey, luck is a part of the game, and I take that into account.
Then the post-season started, and he was my best player. Ever since then he's been solid gold. I'm in 2017 now and he has a shot at MVP. Sometimes you just have to stick it out.Dynasty URL: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2047536342

Re: Unluckiest Player?
For almost every year I've played The Show, I seem to have a player on my team who the CPU just pitches rediculously tough compared to the rest of my players. For a long time, that was Alfonso Soriano. More recently, its been Javy Baez. The CPU just seems to take it up a notch, and no matter who's on the mound, they become like a 99 OVR Greg Maddux, hitting all of the corners and forcing me into nothing but weak contact. It drives me nuts how they pitch Baez SO much tougher than they do Rizzo, or Bryant, and anyone else I throw out there.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment
