    MLB 12 vs MLB 16

Well....I am no means saying MLB 16 isn't great. But I went back and played MLB 12 and well that game is superior in a ton of ways. It was probably the last year they didn't have to make or start making a game for 2 systems. It has a ton of cut scenes and it is more fluid as far as FPS and for me a broadcast feeling and presentation enthusiast it is just so much better. The sounds seem to be better and more life like and it just seems more for me. I really hope the team goes back and looks as some of this game and puts a lot of the things that are in this game and put it in 17. Trust me guys go back and play it once and you will see how much of a classic this year was!!!!!

Im not sure I see where you get the notion that the presentation is "better" In fact I would argue it is the same old garbage that we have now. A tired broadcasting team with almost zero emotion, delayed calls worse then any other sports game going right now. I mean a homerun has already cleared the wall, been caught, and the camera is back on the runner rounding second base when the announcer finally says it is a homerun. The last baseball game where the announcing was spot on was maybe a 2K game.

I think the problem lies in the lack of competition SCEA has. There is never a need to address presentation issues because if you dont like it..... you dont play a baseball game for that season.

Was the commentary/presentation better when MLB2K was around?

I vaguely remember MLB09 and not sure when MLB2K officially died (was it MLB13?) But it all still seems very similar. Just different voices and graphics.

I think it's just a design decision/direction of the game. Even in genres were there's competition, you can see "clones" as much as "innovation".

Ok already going down the "what I don't like about The Show" road. Going to just close this up now. Comparisons between 4 year old games on different console generations is not going to end well.
