Pinch Runner

I just played a game where it wouldn't allow me to pinch run for a runner on 1rst in the 9th inning. I thought maybe it was because I had already taken a pitch in the next at bat. So I waited until the next batter and tried it again and was unsuccessful. I tried it from the quick menu select and from the <options> pause menu.

I saw a thread from last year about it being a random experience. I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this and if it is still just a random thing? I've never had any issues with pinch running before. It just seemed a bit odd.

I had this happen in a game as well. The game let me go in to do it, confirmed I did it, but then never actually replaced the runner no matter how many times I tried. It's only happened that one time through nearly 60 games though so not sure what prompted it

Same thing. I tried, it said I made the switch, but never did the switch. Its only happened that one time so far. I thought it was bc I was trying to PR my DH whos speed was 18. He was on second in the 9th down 1 run.

Had this happen a bunch last year, not yet this year though. *knock*
