I know it's way too late for anything to be done this year but this needs to be extremely high on the priority list for next year. It's way too easy and way too effective. As long as it's this easy people are going to abuse it online. You shouldn't be forced to play bunt defense 95% of games, and not only that sometimes even bunt defense isn't enough to stop it. There are WAY too many perfect bunts and not enough fouls and popups.
On the flip side, bunt defense is too effective against line drives, grounders, and choppers. Corner infielders all the way on the grass catch 105 mph line drives with ease all the time, it's kind of ridiculous. It's really frustrating when someone plays bunt defense all game with no negative consequences.
