Also some other random pitch counts of 0-0 0-1 and 1-0. I've never seen those.

I don't think they're going to implement these ideas. The general message we get from Ramone on QC's is that what we have is about as good as it will get.

0-0 won't be an option because that goes against the fabric of QC's. It seems like you're going to have 2+ pitches every single time and it will stay that way. I've read nothing on OS to point to anything added.

Not this year. I don't think anything else will be done at all this year. But there is always a chance they will change it up next year. I know that Sony reads these message boards. I'd hope that ready what their customers want may play just a little bit in what they do for the future/Healy of their product that they sell to these customers. And without those customers, well....

I understand that. I just don't believe this is a big enough issue to even crack a wish list. You can keep on trying though.

          Re: Quick Counts needs work

They should make each count based on the pitcher's control, bb per 9, k per 9, and pitching clutch with runners on base and the batter's plate vision and plate discipline. For example, a hitter with high plate discipline is more likely to have a count with more balls, a pitcher with high control and high k per 9 will have more counts where he is ahead, etc.

Or have it based on the .users play style, like if I were to use it it would have 0-1 counts hitting and 1-2 counts pitching.

Hope this makes a sense, but it needs to be reworked and less fully random and more purposefully random.

I am no programmer, but I can't imagine it would be that hard to implement something like this. I can't imagine that this is as good as it gets with QC. Similar to how they added in the "Push L1" to cut off a throw, I feel like they can add in a similar button to be pushed under a very short time frame to bring up a menu to change pitchers or choose to bunt, etc. It's not like this request is asking for a overhaul or makeover. It's just tweaking what's already there. Similarly, could it really be that much work to program the game so that whenever the CPU puts in a new pitcher the count is 0-0 or 1-1?
