    I check it weekly.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

      Almost Never.

I forget that it is there with how hidden it is. And I really don't care for this feature, especially the roles.

Has the morale/role problem from imported seasons from 15 been fixed?

I find its important to think ahead - when signing guys be realistic about their role on the team even if it costs an extra bit of $ per season. Its good for their morale big time.

I actually completely forgot about it as well...thus was the basis for my post haha....trying to gauge what others do and go from there.

I think once a week sounds solid...Sundays or Mondays maybe...after every game would just be excessive

I check periodically, no set day, usually when a roster move needs to be made is when I'll check the effected players. The roles aren't too bad but there are some instances where a guys expectation is nowhere near the reality of what he should be doing based on his ratings and those guys I either look to trade when I get to the deadline or dump completely.

I look here and there. I treat it like real life so to say. I set my lineup, rotation, and stuff to the best chance to win. If guys aren't happy, I don't move them based on that.

                  Re: Player morale

I have a tendency of playing unrealistically compared to others here so morale is a big deal to me. At the beginning of the year, if you're unhappy, I'll find someone younger but similar who wants to be here. As the season progresses, if someone gets called up and can take days from the starter, that usually leads to the role changing on the starter pissing them off. If its a short term move(based on injury), I leave the starter alone. But If the person who got called up could legitimately take the starters place(maybe low overall but young high potential and can bat), he's gone. I dont need people crying about time or money or if Im close to their home. I dont need older players. My team gets stacked with young happy talent that can be traded if it gets upset. I check in on morale once a month when Im checking how the prospects are fairing in the lower levels.

I don't care for the morale aspect of the game so I ignore it.
Most of my time is spent on season mode rather than franchise anyways, so I'm not worried about offending a player with his role on the team or money, or how good my coaching staff is, or how close to home he is. The few points they fall in OVR is negligible & I can cope with that. If they were falling in OVR by double digits, now that would give me pause to concern myself not butthurting any emotionally fragile primadonnas. lol

Just curious, why do you prefer season mode over franchise?

I am not sure how I feel about the morale system, its presence feels so subtle it's almost like it is not even there. My last exposure to a morale system was MVP which was very invasive and constately in your face. If they want it to mean a little more (I am not sure if they do) it needs to be threaded through the mode more to let you know it is there as opposed to a sub menu you need to search for. At the very least the overal morale icon should be prominately placed so you see it for the player when you toggle to them.

For the most part I prefer to play one season & be done, so I don't require all the bells & whistles franchise offers.
I do still have a year2year carryover, full fledged franchise from Show 14 to 15 to 16, with the Braves, and that's plenty.
So far in Show 16 with current rosters I have played a season with Seatlle & am currently playing one with the Rockies. I also am playing a classic season with the '87 Indians. I only need one franchise going but season mode is where I get my variety.

I find the first year you brings a guy up to having a MLB contract(so that you can actually see his morale screen) is when they get stupid expectations. I had Chad Girodo expecting to be a closer and Wade LeBlanc with Ace expectations when they couldn't even sniff my 25man. Next season both have "depth" expectations now.

Personally I like the system just hope it's tuned next year to include a way to change players expectations. Like maybe a meeting system like NHL where you can talk to the player and explain his role etc.

It makes me sad when I look at the Mets and Syndergaard and DeGrom are 86 rated because they are mad about not being Aces. So stupid. Also makes me mad that guys with depth expectations are dissapointed to be in the minors, because at the end of the day that's a depth role, they should have positive morale as long as they are on my 40man IMO as that indicates I consider them a possible call-up.
