I can tell you how to post videos, as it is not that hard.

I reckon you are an older fella ....

I watch a game a day, full broadcast, every pitch. I schedule a week of games to watch, usually divided into 2 series from all over the MLB. I use 30 team control to manage all rosters. All in-game strategy is cpu vs cpu, unless it does something stupid, like put a catcher in centerfield. Then, I override, correct, and the game goes on. The rest of the games of the day, I start the game, check the starting lineup and pitchers, check game conditions and attendance, then fast forward until the ninth inning. I recheck defensive positions for both teams, then watch the 9th (and sometimes beyond) on quick pitch until game is complete. I repeat this process until the days' schedule is played. Below are my sliders for cpu vs cpu.

All CPU, used for both live games and sim.

I am older. Started on baseball and sports sims using dice and cards in 7th grade in 1972.
I would like to learn how to record games, but with separate audio of me doing play-by-play. I have a decent speaking voice, as I am a professional vocalist/musician. I always wanted to record and post key games from my franchise.

thank you. you could create a you tube channel and record to the channel and the post the link on this site. I am just wondering how your stats look, mainly. No biggie - thanks for sharing.

I'd advise making a roster if you want people to really get involved in this. You'll get some backing doing that, for sure.

Ratings are dynamic throughout the season, so have a schedule in mind for when to go through and re edit the league and draftees.

Hopefully they fix this mess for next year.

Have you figured out how to get the ERAs down? From what I saw the ERAs for Baltimore ' s pitchers were sky high, the starting rotation isn't that good in real life but the back end of the bullpen (Brach 1.17 and Britton 0.67 respectively this year) have been stellar.

I agree that they need a sim engine like OOTP. I will not be making a roster file. By about the 12th day of April, I should have everything set in my franchise file. If there is a way to share that file with the community, I am glad too. Is that even possible to do on PS-4 ? And why do you not return to MLB 16 ?

Good question. Stats vary greatly from season-to-season. a person could go and edit certain players back to normal. the sim engine is total-BS when it comes to how it treats SV vs BSV in the sim engine. As Lowe said, SCEA needs to do a big overhaul to their sim engine instead of us having to fix these problems ourselves.

Yeah I've been saying/noticing this for years. My first thought is there just aren't enough ratings to properly represent real sim baseball nor are there any tendencies or traits to expand upon that. I hate seeing a guy rated in the 90's in contact against both LHP & RHP batting .220. Or stud relievers with ERAs in the 7.00s. Strikeout rates for relievers are bogus as well; guys like kimbrel, chapman, betances among others who routinely K 90 or more batters per season rarely seem to reach that number. Walks for batters are always low as well...rarely does a player reach 100+. I truly enjoy this game without a doubt but there is so much that needs to be addressed over this and future development cycles.

I agree. I doubt they will ever fix these issues. I have messaged Ramone for 7-years about some things and rarely a fix is put in place. I finished a season sim using rotating sliders and it is on first page.

You have no reason to apologize, you didn't say anything demeaning or insulting.

We have this little thing called freedom of speech in this country...

Whether you consider what he said demeaning or insulting doesn't really matter. What the moderators think does matter. Personally, I think it shows maturity by the OP to go back and remove a remark that didn't really matter one way or another.

What also doesn't matter on OS is our Constitutional right to free speech. This is a privately owned message board policed by moderators who are well within their rights to censor whatever they want whenever they want. We have a right to free speech and to not be imprisoned for it...a general right to free speech does not give you immunity to say whatever you feel, wherever, and without consequences. You could easily be fired from your job over your speech; you could be banned from here etc..all quite legally at the discretion of those private entities.

This is not a hard concept and I am really surprised this whole free speech thing pops up from time to time when this has been explained over and over.

Would you be willing to share your google calendar with the injuries? I do the same thing with NBA 2K and I really enjoy it. I don't have all the info on MLB injuries early in the season. Thanks in advance. (sorry, first post if I did anything wrong)

I have no reason to threaten you with any wrong-doing.
I will make the calendar public when I finish it.

                            I have not started yet.
There is already one posted in the 30-man dl thread that is good as well.
