Sending pitchers down who then never start

Hard to believe this is still an issue. You send a pitcher down to the minors and they continually get skipped on their start. It's been an ongoing issue for at least a couple years. Any fixes on this? Stunned they didn't catch something like this after it was mentioned last year (and I believe the year before).

Are you putting them into the rotation? I've never seen this before

I had this happen with Nate Karns. I just sent him to A ball and replaced him in the AAA rotation and it fixed it. No idea what causes it though

Happens all the time - While it's annoying, you can do a quick "Simcast Manager" (might be completely off on the name) for the individual game that he's scheduled to start and make sure he actually starts. Or, just act like you're gonna play the game and do play now, select your pitcher, set your lineups, enter the game and then exit.

              Annoying though..

Had the game since release, but never had this issue. Until now, that is. In a franchise with the Yankees, sent Luis Severino back down to AAA, and his start keeps getting skipped. It's been happening with all starters who I've been moving around between the systems. I would have agreed that I didn't see it if it hadn't just started happening to me lol
It's a bit upsetting, and I need to figure out how to fix it. Would hate to have to start over again. Though this absolutely dreadful season wouldn't be missed

Finally found someone else who has this issue too. I had this issue back in 15 and this year as well... It's so annoying!

This happened to Henry Owens in my first franchise, could not get him to start in AAA. Luckily, I'm playing a different franchise now, not that he's a major player or anything but still.

Re: Sending pitchers down who then never start

When a pitcher gets sent down they sometimes end up below the CP in the pitching rotation screen, where they are listed simply as "RP". In other words, they are not listed as LRP, MRP, SU, or CP (or SP for that matter). When they are listed as RP, the computer will not utilize them at all and they will get zero innings. Not sure if this is your problem, but thought I would mention it.

To remedy this problem, simply move them from RP to MRP, LRP, SU or CP (most likely LRP if they are a starter without a spot in the rotation).

I can tell you that for me, my SP is right in the rotationa and still getting skippd (just like last year). So it's not just a placement issue when they get sent down.
