What is pitcher "makeup" in scouting?

I'm curious if anyone knows what pitcher makeup means and what attributes are affected in player scouting. How about control?

Thank you. What about the other scouting categories? Control, velocity? Which attributes do those affect? I'm sorry if this has been answered before

Id assume control affects the control and BB/9 attributes

For velocity it affects velocity and K/9.

I think those are just the pitch ratings. Basically, I think of it as deciding if I want the scouts to favor tools or pitching ability. Or arm vs head (decision making and out thinking the hitter).

There's advantages to both ways. High pitches are especially valuable this year since only control can develop among the three pitch ratings. However, if the /9 are too low (or too lopsided, say decent BB/9 and K/9 but horrible H/9), he might get hammered in games (sim or otherwise), which could hurt him in the long run.

On the other hand, pitches do matter and when it's time to play him in a (non-sim) game, poorer pitches will lower his effectiveness, not letting his pitch ability to play up.

Did some testing-5 points in Makeup will give you 71 stamina, 75 Pitching Clutch, and 45 HR/9. Those are the attributes affected.

Break affects H/9, Control BB/9, and Velocity K/9.

Other affiliated are Plate Vision with Contact, Plate Discipline With Power, and a bunch with Speed. Bunting, Drag Bunting, Stealing, and Base running Aggressiveness. Arm Accuracy with Arm Strength, and Reaction with Fielding.

It was admittedly corny but I laughed.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
