Trades (Season mode)

I know most people play Franchise mode, so I may not get any help with this question, but I figured I'd ask anyway. Anybody who plays Season mode, do you see CPU-CPU trades?

I'm currently at July 30 in my season, and there's not been a single CPU-CPU trade. I had the trade slider at 5 most of the season, but bumped it up to 10 for the week of the trade deadline.

CPU players are on the block. CPU teams offer me trades. And if I test sim, I may see a trade or two, so CPU trades are definitely on. But when I play my games instead of simming them, no trades happen.

The same thing happened on MLB 15. Trades worked just fine in Season mode for MLB 12 (I didn't get far enough along on 13 or 14).

UPDATE: Played my July 31 game and no trades.

I've never seen any. I play an 82 game Season mode and have not seen any. No 40 man rosters either in a 1/2 year which was sad. And I still can not figure out my "minor" league teams because no games are ever played so . . . . .

Are you playing every game, or simming some of them?

So I'm seeing the same thing with MLB 17.

I'm nearly to July and not a single CPU-CPU trade. I play all my games.

I did a test season where I simmed all the games and saw about a trade a week among CPU teams. Seems like there's some sort of bug in season mode where if you play your team's games, the CPU teams don't trade.

Anybody else see this?
