    No 3-6-3 Double Plays?

Has anyone ever turned a 3-6-3 Double Play in MLB The Show 16?

I really think this should be added to the game.

Its there as I've turned it a couple of times.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Ditto on this as I've turned a few myself. Mainly relies on the speed of the batter, and the correlation of your first basemen to the bag after he releases his throw to second.

yeah they rarely happen. 1st basemen tend to lack awareness.

I've also seen a few, but have seen 3-6-1 more often

Same here I have seen 3-6-1 a lot actually but 3-6-3 not much if at all.

It seems to happen as long as the 1B doesn't have to move towards 2B to field the ball.

It seems the 1-6-4-3 & the 1 4-6-3 are way more common in the Show than the 3-6-3
(where the ball ricochets off the pitcher).
I don't mind that it's hard to turn a 3-6-3 but those other 2 should be less common.

                      Re: No 3-6-3 Double Plays?

One of the problems that needs addressed is the range of the firstbaseman which infringes on second baseman's territory. If you switch fielders, nobody is covering first. Many of those should be 4-6-3 attempts or 3-6-1 completions.

Playing every game in my franchies I probably turn a few a week. Sometimes the first basemen doesnt cover though and the pitcher is too slow.

The play i actually very rarely see is my pitcher covering 1st base. I generally try to wait a few seconds if my first basemen fields it and very rarely is my pitcher faster enough.

I just turned one with Dae Ho Lee and either Marte/Omalley on 90+ speed Ellsbury so I know it's possible. As others have said, it's probably because Lee did the squatting animation where he just turned his hips towards second on the throw and rather than moving his body towards 2nd.

                          All default sliders.

They are rare, no doubt. I think they'd be near impossible without adjusting sliders. Default running speed (baserunners AND defense) is way to high.

One of my RTTS players is a first baseman and he's turned maybe one or two 3-6-3 DPs in 5+ seasons. Every time I make the throw to 2nd, my guy just stands there and watches his throw no matter how hard I push on the left stick.
