    Just me or.....?

So I've noticed that whenever I get to the 3rd or later with a no no and perfect game I seem to get in the groove..... Until the pitcher comes up. I play on HoF and I swear it feels like the opposing pitcher gets 99 everything hitting. I've lost at least 5 no hitters to pitchers in the 6th and later.

And no, I don't lay pitches in to them so this can't happen and it does.

I gave up a home run in the 9th inning of a perfect game on a pitch way outside the zone. AI can do what it wants. I constantly have ridiculous hits , errors, etc happen when I'm up or in the midst of a perfect game or no hitter

Pitchers hit like cleanup hitters in this game for some reason. Online I am tempted to put them in the four spot because of their production. Those tiny PCI's pack a punch!

In my games, I swear pinch hitters are batting .500

Doesn't matter who they are, successful pinch hits seem to be way too common.

What difficulty are you guys playing on? I've stopped playing at anything above veteran due to some of the comebacks the ai is able to perform with players that are not up to par.

HOF pitching (very punishing if I leave anything up in the zone) / All Star hitting (I am not very good and really can't hit on HOF)

              I'm on All-Star/All-Star.

Reading this thread jinxed me. Got a CG SHO with my ace, 17 Ks, just 5 hits allowed. The one guy with a multi-hit game? The opposing starter. He went 2-for-3. This against a guy with 95 H/9 and 99 K/9! I hope he bought some lotto tickets after the game.

Rest of team? 3-for-30 with a walk.

I experienced this a lot with previous versions but not so much this year, although I did give up a homer to Leake the other day.

I have had this same thing happen; an opposing pitcher ruining a perfect game or no hitter in the 5-7 inning timeframe happens more often then any other person in the batting order. And it is always a screaming line drive deep...yet the pitcher has 0 power and sub 20 contact. Seems really fishy.

I have also noticed that the announcers totally jinx it. I dont have the stats, but in games where I have a no-no going, I would say my first hit is given up within 3 pitches of them alluding to said no-no about 50% of the time.

                    Re: Just me or.....?

I haven't really seen it. I play on Hall of Fame with computer power down one notch and it's mainly the better players who punish me. Harper and Ramos for the Nats have taken me for double digit homers this season and Freddie Freeman must be batting over 500 against me. The scrubs and pitchers seem to be pretty easy pickings unless they get into one of those innings where everything just seems to find a way through.

For the record, my no-no superstition is thinking that warming up my bullpen jinxes the no hit bid, especially if I do it in the inning I'm pitching instead of hitting. I always seem to give up a hit as soon as I warm up a reliever just in case, but that's probably more just that I don't notice no hitters getting broken up before the 7th inning when I might start getting someone up in the pen
