    Weird freeze.

I just finished a franchise game and I've been stuck on this screen for a solid 15-20 minutes. Songs continue to play and I can go do the Playstation dashboard. I'm really dreading shutting the system off because I'll lose arguably the best game I've played in a long, long time. My hitters have been struggling but we put together 15 hits in this one which will really help some of their averages.

I'm curious if anyone's ever seen this happen before. Out of the hundreds of games I've played on The Show this is the first time I've ever seen this happen..

Image below is a screenshot. I'm going to just leave the system on all night and hope that it's back to the franchise menu by the morning... possibly a bad idea but I don't want to lose this game.

Yeah, I've gotten that before. I think it's related to some connection issue (or at least it is for me, I got a new router and my console does not seem to like it, randomly dropping connection to the servers for whatever reason, even though it's a far better router) and it's like it never times out, so it gets stuck in a loop.

It only happens if my system is online. If I don't connect to PSN beforehand, I never see this problem or anything similar.

Only way I ever got out if it is restarting the system. Maybe if I was patient enough it might eventually time out, but I'm not that patient lol.

mine did that when my power went out for a second.....somehow the PS4 stayed on, while most everything else shut off and restarted it self.....i saved the game in game and left the game and it did that and then I shut PS4 off...was gonna shut it off anyway just in case power went out again...

I've gotten out of my game freezing before by hitting the ps button and going back to the dashboard and then back into the game. Doesn't always work but worth a try.

I freeze when my pitchers misses the 4th bunt attempt and gets a walk - everything freezes, music plays and the pitchers on the mound just walks around waiting.

I lose everything for that game.

Yup got it after a franchise game, 1st game of the world series too. And the game didn't auto save. Nothing pisses me off more than having a game not save.

Sitting at the same screen now after a really awesome game for me.

Kemp had 2 HRs (including one out of the stadium shot dead center at PNC Park)
Mallex Smith was 1 single away from the cycle
Freddie had a homer, a double, and 3 RBIs
Dansby Swanson went 4 for 4 in his first game in the Bigs

Trying to figure out ways to get it to un-freeze itself lol.

Makes me feel like saving in the 9th just to have it stored just in case this comes up is starting to feel prudent.

That way, if you have to reboot the console, you don't lose a good game.

I'll probably just play offline from now on. I got no reason to be signed in when im playing offline franchise anyway.

This is what I used to have to do on my Vita. Seemed to crash all the time in the late innings during great games.
