I'd like to hear from some other Show gamers about their experience with simulating innings in-game. Sometimes if I would get a big lead like yesterday when I was up 7-1 and I'm kind of itching to make some progress in my Season I will sim an inning or two or three. But I noticed that way too often the simulating experience is complete bull crap. I've had games where I was up 10 - 1 and decided to sim. Next thing I know the CPU has "simulated" itself 21 runs. Last night same thing, it caused me to blow a huge lead. I mean this happens nearly every time I simulate, so I've decided I can no longer simulate, which sucks. I have other things to do in my life besides play every single pitch of a 162 game season.

Is there something in the settings that's making my simulations so crazy? Has anyone else experienced this? Truthfully this is making me consider putting this game down for good because if there is no hope in ever completing a season - ya know before the next edition of the game comes out - I'm really not that interested in playing. It's just too bad there's not some kind of 'rewind' feature within the game.

Such is the life of Fast Forward. It's really a crap shoot a lot of times.

One thing, if you plan to do a lot of Fast Forwarding/simming, get HR/9 on your pitchers. That might help keep the big innings to a minimum. There seems to be a lot of home runs in Fast Forward, or maybe it's because I tend to disregard that rating because I Fast Forward very infrequently (it has no bearing on "live" games).

However, there's no real need to be in a rush now that there's carryovers. So if the next game comes out, you can carry your franchise over.

QC isnt for everyone especially when it comes to bunters but its still an option to consider . Maybe use it once every five or ten games .
Have you changed the default settings ? If so , which ones and to what ?
Save before you sim then if you get a result your uncomfortable with you can "rewind" .

Yea I've definitely noticed that there are a lot of HR's on fast forward.

I've never tried carrying over to the next release. Wouldn't your roster be completely different though or can you use the exact same lineup with the same injuries etc?

I'm using the OS '16 slider set with a few modifications, so yeah I'm pretty far away from the default settings which I assume has something to do with it.
I never considered saving the game before fast forwarding, great idea!

You could also see what the sim stats look like if you set the slider settings back to default before you sim . Its unfortunate all the work-arounds are time-consuming . Sorry .

Carryover takes everything and just moves it to the next game.

For example, I have a franchise that's in Year 10 (2023, started in 2014). That's been carried over across three versions of the game now (was a MLB14 franchise, then carried to MLB15 and now MLB16).
