    Analog Pitching

Are any of you guys finding Analog pitching to be a bit too easy this year?
It just feels no matter what i set for user pitch control and consistency that I can always paint the corners. I'm 3 months into my season and i have a Sub 3.00 Team ERA on default legend. I also almost never walk batters due to the ease of hitting your spots.

Does anyone find the same? is it simply that the mechanic is too easy compared to others?

Yeah, and not only that, the entire game changes if you change modes too. I found that switching from Analog to pulse made everyone gain insane batter's eyes, and also crush anything barely in the zone. It was the most abrupt thing I've ever seen. Immediately it felt as though I was playing a different game.

Did u settle on analog then? Any other ways to make it more challenging? I really don't want to change control type cause its too darn fun. Yet it sucks to not feel challenged on the highest difficulty

Assuming you haven't tried any of these already....

I would first of all ensure the strike zone is switched off.
Choose a pitching view that doesn't look straight on to the plate, something like outfield.
Switch off the controller rumble/vibration so you can't tell if you are placing the pitching cursor in/out of the zone.
Shrink the analog pitching display to as small as possible, so you are pitching by the feel of the controller rather than looking at the on screen graphic.
Final option would be to switch off the pitching cursor, so you can't see where you are initially aiming.

just tried pulse pitching for the first time and its very different. I walk a ton of guys which is great but i just really love the feel of analog. thanks for the suggestions! already tried a few but its still too easy to nail the corners, hopefully they make it a bit "wilder" next year

Anyone else using analog pitching w/o looking at the pitch meter and try to time the release with pitchers motion? Tough as all hell but fun, not sure I can continue but will stick with it for a while.

Bumping this because this has been a problem for years and still seems to be one. It's just too easy to locate pitches with Analog Pitching.

i haven't found it particulary too easy because i can't seem to throw a ball! i also play on legend and struggle to be consistent against the cpu. some games i get absolutely lit up.

Yeah I was in the same boat. Pitching was too easy on analog pitching on Legend difficulty. I changed to classic pitching and have been much more satisfied.

I think it it tougher and more challenging than ever to locate consistently, especially with the frequency of wild pitches this year. If you really prefer Analog I suggest using it without the meter.

how do u turn off the meter? I've turned off the pitch location indicator and its still way too easy. I also zeroed out human pitcher control and no difference. The mode is just too easy even on legend

Some people find analog pitching impossible others find it easy. Nerf this, buff that ..... damn guys. Adjust pitching sliders to taste.

I am pitching on HOF and both pitching sliders are on 0. You don't think people thought of that? How condescending.

No matter what I do I am able to throw like 90% strike rates. It's not a difficulty issue. Analog Pitching is the right toughness in terms of the hits I give up and everything, and I lose plenty. But I lose plenty while allowing 0 walks.

I give up walks, but I always try to hit the corners and don't always succeed. I'm not good enough to pinpoint exact locations 100% of the time.

Bumping this, anyone ever get to legend plus on dynamic difficulty? Is there even a legend plus?
Wondering if that will make analog pitching more challenging
