My apologies. He asked "is anybody on board with me"? I guess I took it too literally.

Yeah, but you have to realize that your post (while I know you are huge advocate of Manager Mode) is a (not purposeful) attempt to hijack a thread. It's a conversation that should be in a thread about manage mode.

I get your passion for the mode, and love it. Just don't let it be in every thread.

#1 - get the game to play like MLB IRL.

        #2 - everything else.
I get believable outcomes and often variable scores in manager mode, and sim seasons with excellent relatability in team era while keeping relief and starting pitcher innings exactly where they have been historically league wide. It's there, just tweak the game here and there. It's best to ask questions and stay with the appropriate thread though, we all know our way around the game pretty well and none of us would play the game at all or care for these issues if gameplay wasn't right. You can pm me and I'll help you work on it.

With MLB working to ban tobacco, I doubt this will ever happen.

          @ the OP...

I like your suggestions. I mentioned it before but I REALLY want to see something similar to what 2K did in terms of player tendencies. I'd like to see something where we can customize the tendency a player will swing on the 1st strike, steal (versus having this as a slider, make it a %), take the extra base, dive for a baseball (if automatic fielding = on), throw a breaking pitch on a hitters count, swing for the fences on a certain count, etc.

MLB: The Show prides itself I think on being a sim-style game...being able to have real-life tendencies and edit them any way we want would truly provide a sim-style like none other, especially with simulated stats.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

The Show had snot rockets one year and MLB made them take it out.

Players and managers getting ejected for arguing balls and strikes.

I'd love that (especially since ejections can effect player management/usage) but I don't think MLB will allow that. I know an old game I used to play gave you the option of arguing until ejection or calmly walking away.

That would be MVP Baseball (2005 I know for sure, not sure about 2004)
