I'm terrible at hitting, but I love pitching and playing defense so I want to only play defense. However I still want to make in-game decisions on offense such as pinch hitting or bunting. Is there a way to do this? Basically the sportscast manager but only for offense?

Not that I can think of. Only option we have for that would be Fast Forward, which of course takes you out of it completely.

You could switch controls to center. Then pause and switch Bach to make a change. But the CPU can make changes too.
