They still have to do two versions, haha.

True they have to work on both the PS4 and Pro versions now. But unlike the PS3, the Pro is basically the same machine with more horsepower, where the PS3 is a completely different system, and a difficult system to develop for at that.Comment

I don't think it needs to make a BIIIIIGGGGGG leap forward for 17. But for what is there it needs to be polished and we need the graphics to be up to par.
I hope they got the go ahead to cancel the PS3 version early because that would mean they had time to code a decent amount. Anyway, they have time now to get the PS4 systems up to par.
They are a very capable dev. But no question the PS3 version was holding this game back.Comment

The PS3 version as your bottom line template was the worst thing that could ever affect this franchise in the long term. For so many reasons. It's really great news that no deadlines or anything needs to be done with it anymore.

Good news for most of us, but bad news for PS3 only folks.

I don't think the thread is going to get comical. This needed to happen. And this is the best time to do it. Sony is no longer selling PS3's like they care about it. They don't really care at this point. Their fundamental business model is now almost totally PS4, Pro, and VR.Comment
