An idea on how to add personality to fielding

Something I think that could help the personality on the defensive side (more than often favorite part of the game) is like in 16 where 3 new running styles were added, have the same idea but for defense. There are different animations for good/bad fielders but most plays to me look similar unless there is a huge difference in fielding ability.

You could have guys who have alot more flair, guys with quick hands/feet, guys who throw over the top or more 3/4's, I am sure there are many more I jsut can't think of right now.

I don't see each individual player ever having their own play style but I think even playing a game where each SS (for example) on either side plays slightly different.

I like it. Even if its just different throwing and catching animations.

A little off the topic but slighty related, I have often wondered why there isn't an attribute rating for SS 2B and 3B for turning double-plays. Catchers have their own special block attribute, infielders could have their own turn-two attribute.
