Re: Jumbotron and LED board feedback
The Giants changed the layout of their main video board, ribbon boards, and pitch count boards.
The 2007-2015 main video board layout:
The current layout:

Current pitch count board layout:
In July, they also added a very small video board to the left of the main one that's used mostly to keep track of the 50/50 raffle total. Here's a photo showing it in relation to the main board:
And a close-up:

During the season, the A's also changed their video board layout. Here's the one used in 2015 and the first month or so of 2016:
And here's the current one used from May of 2016 onwards:
They also covered the O.Co Coliseum signs above the boards. Here's an example of that with the current layout:

Re: Jumbotron and LED board feedback
Also, here are some photos of the current ribbon board layout at the Oakland Coliseum. My apologies for the last one being a bit blurry.
As you can kinda see in the last photo, the A's also installed some permanent plaques in the area behind home plate in lieu of ribbon boards. The ones directly behind home plate list the franchise's World Series championships:
And, then, extending from either side of the world series displays are smaller plaques, each dedicated to a retired number or iconic manager/owner. These continue until the ribbon boards begin. Here's a broad view of how these look:
And a close up of Walter Haas' plaque:

Re: Jumbotron and LED board feedback
Would you be able to provide images of exactly where all of the circular retried numbers are located? Thanks!
Spoiler
Here's a somewhat close-up view of what one of the A's retired numbers looks like:

Here's a handful of other images that can hopefully help:

Re: Jumbotron and LED board feedback
Here's the best I can do with the images I have. Hopefully, they can be of some use. From left to right, there's Jackie Robinson's #42 (in blue), the Walter Haas plaque, a plaque for Dick Williams (his last name over the Hall of Fame logo), a Tony La Russa plaque (similar to Williams'), the World Series displays, then the following retired numbers (with no names): 27, 34, 9, 43, 24.Comment

Re: Jumbotron and LED board feedback
Adam_SDS can you see if the artist for Citizens Bank Park can make the right field out of town scoreboard LED color Red for afternoon and Sunny games and Amber for night and overcast/Rainy games?

Re: Jumbotron and LED board feedback
I think he is talking about technically not possible. Perhaps would need three separate stadiums to do it?Comment

Re: Jumbotron and LED board feedback
I do not know if this has been mentioned before but why not make it a feature were the community can make, add, and edit much of the none dynamic media/ads throughout the stadium.
As far as the Jumbotrons and/or dynamic video displays a good start might be to create a editable loop for each team. Player and team bio/stats can be inserted in a timely fashion of relativity and as for extra content...make a bunch of caned content (clips) and let the community make additional, add, and edit them and insert into the loop. The finished loop would be editable except for the slots when player/team are triggered to role because of relevance.Comment

Would love to put my own ads up on the walls.
