Looking forward to seeing what this is all aabout...

According to the Gamestop website and game features, this is being listed as one...

New Ways to Play: Now with new managerial and gameplay options that provide different levels of acceleration to progress your franchise while maintaining the control you want to.

Wonder if we will see more of a nongraphical mode like some of those true sim games on PC... could that be it...

could they be trying to tap into that market?

wouldn't surprise me... it really wouldn't

    Any ideas, or thoughts????

I would love to see one pitch mode. I used to play in that mode beck when High Heat was around and loved it.

Could be something similar to Madden's "Play The Moments", where they throw you into key game situations without making you play the entire game. I don't know, just guessing.

        Also:

Road to The Show: Take complete control in our RPG mode, with new opportunities to make decisions on AND off the field that change the path of your career.
I think we already assumed something like this based on the trailer, it will interesting to see how far they take it with RttS this year.

How cool would it be if the new "Managerial options" were a mode similar to Manager Mode in MVP Baseball? I know there's already manager mode in The Show, but it renders the game normally and still takes 30+ minutes to play a game. MVP's was text based and only took about 10 minutes to get through a game. Would be a great way to get through a lot of games in franchise quickly, without having to sim.

I does sound kind of like one pitch mode and I wouldn't use it exclusively but it would be progress.

Absolutely loved this mode. My favorite part of MVP baseball

Agreed. Even 2K7 I think it was had a nice mode like that. Would definitely love to see it this year.
