We've heard the "improved hits down the line" stuff before...I'm hoping that it's a meaningful difference.

And re living the father/son back to back homers with Griffey would be great. I hope that 89-92 Mariners uniforms are in, instead of the Trident ones, or the Pilots one. Hell, the Pilots are the Milwaukee Brewers...

That and they only have 75 employees that work on the Show (If I remember correctly Ramone mentioned this last year). Compare that to 2K which has over 175 that work on the basketball game. People wonder why things get implemented slowly that is exactly why. RESOURCES, RESOURCES, RESOURCES.

If only they were able to fund a staff as big as 2K... This would be the best game of all time. The gameplay is very close to being perfect, so if they were able to add all of the bells and whistles like presentation, graphics, immersion, expansion mode, My Career, rotating commentators, etc., it'd be a pretty damn hard game to beat.

One thing I hope they do not do is move all the oldtime, classic stuff (uniform, equipment, etc) into retro mode and out of the regular game. So if you want to use a certain throwback uni you have to be in retro mode.

If they moved some of the throwbacks to retro mode only it would free up space for more alternate regular unis that may not already be in the game, or that are new for 17.

Dear god don't even put that idea out there bud.

I believe it is either the week before or the week of Pitchers and Catchers reporting. But I am not 100% certain of that info as it is a couple of years old.

Does roster cutoff date even matter as much anymore since the day you get the game a live roster update will already be out?

I'm honestly worried at this point that we've seemingly gotten no details about improvements to franchise mode. Single player franchise is the only thing that I care about, and after the minor improvements last year, I was hoping for a lot more in 2017.

There wasn't really much announced about Franchise until like March last year. No need to worry, worrying gets you nowhere anyways

All games released on ps4 will also run on the pro vice versa. Some games will have pro benefits like improved textures, 4k support etc

No need to be worried at all it's pretty much the same every year. None of the important info will be released until the twitch video blogs start more then likely the first week after the Super Bowl. I would look for the twitch video blog schedule announcement from Russell around the last week of January and the first twitch video blog to follow about a week or so later.

So I would say we have around 4 weeks or so until info starts flowing in.

For a die hard MLB The Show fan This is always the best time of the year because we are so close to hearing about all the new goodies but at the same time these few weeks also seem to last forever lol
