Is it worth getting a ps4 just for the show? I havent played a playstation since 2006, been xbox ever since, but im a huge baseball fan (Braves) and really want to play a good baseball game lol.

Yes it absolutely. If you are an Xbox guy this is the best game to play sports wise on ps4.

I'm a huge baseball nut and I love the Show. So for those reasons I would say yes, its worth buying a PS4 for the Show.
However, you have to ask yourself is it worth spending $300+ dollars on the console ($400+ if you buy the Pro) and $60 for the game (more if you buy the special editions).
Let's say you buy the $300 console and the $60 version of the game. Between the console and the game, with tax, you're easily at $400. Is it worth $400 to you, to play a great baseball video game? Will you get $400 worth of fun and enjoyment out of the game?
Now if you intend to purchase and play other games on the PS4, then that changes things.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

But....with that being said, if tomorrow they announced MLB The Show would be moving from Play Station to XBox, Well, I'd have to get an XBox. And I personally hate everything about Microsoft...so that is saying something.
Is it perfect? No. But I'd have to say that it is leaps and bounds ahead of any other Baseball game I have ever played.Comment

Not only did The Show sell me on buying a PS4, but the series has also given me a deeper appreciation for and understanding of the sport of baseball in general. I've owned every current-gen version of The Show and every version has been my Game of the Year thus far. 17 will likely be no different.
So yes, I would say it is worth it.
