Believe those are the fake Chinese jerseys aren't they? Like the one below. I mean its not terrible (outside of the terrible quality itself), but meh.



Red is awful - it was acceptable when they wore it on Canada Day/whatever they wanted to call 'Canada Baseball Day' but for 10 home games (including all the giveaway days)? Gross.

Should've gone back to the ol' steroid bird for the alternate. Or (and oh man this is going to be unpopular) they should've pulled a Raptors and busted out the OVO black/gold for a game or two.

Thanks for the post this is exactly what I was referring to, these with a little refinement would be really nice, much better than the red.

It's Canada's 150th year in 2017. That's my guess on why they're doing it this year.

Bleh. Agree to disagree I guess. Red Sox only at the dome on a weekend once this year. The BLUE Jays will be wearing red 2 out of 3 of those games!

Just watched the jays unveil the jerseys. I'm not sure if I like them actually. Doesn't feel like the Jays. I'll have to agree it's only good for Canada day.

The jersey and cap are nice except for the blue Jay logo being colored red. They could have kept the normal blue colors in the logo and made everything else red and white and it would have looked great. Their defence will be that the Canadian flag colors are red and white and not blue but a blue Jay also isn't red.

I would've preferred that too but that's what they used for Canada day a couple years back so I guess they needed something slightly different

I would say try and change the logo on cap to the orginal blue jays. I'll agree about keep the logo color and have red and white for the rest. I wonder about the pant. Still blue piping?

An article on mlb com says it'll be worn with pants that have a red piping.

Wait wait what? If a team uses a certain design already they "need" to change it? With that logic the Yankees Dodgers Cardinals etc etc would have all changed their logos 200 times by now. Teams don't "need" to change something when it's already good. They could have just added that new cap to the previous red jersey maybe with slight updates but just announced that it would be worn every Sunday home game and it would have been good enough.

I meant that that wouldn't want to re-release a jersey that they already used
