Yes, and Turner Field will be in as well.

Really? Strange. Good news about SunTrust being in!

        Re: Franchise plans

I usually start a fantasy draft and play DD until OSFM rosters come out. Then I will roll with the Yanks as always. I love the Yanks farm system. I love their new age philosophy. I am excited to use their young lineup. I am not so excited about their starting pitching. I am debating on rolling with it and staying true to real life or upgrading via trade for one other decent starter.

          I'll continue my Cardinals franchise.

Interesting to see how many of you start your own plan right off the bat. I'm a Red Sox fan so my first franchise is always with them. I will use their plan for the first month or two( like starters, lineup, and that kind of stuff) then start using my own based on how that went

              Re: Franchise plans

I'll probably keep playing my carry over franchise. I'm in year 6 having played every pitch of every game since 14. I've really become sttached to my drafted players. I'd like to start a fresh franchise with a non cap Bryant, Baez, Russell, etc. but I just can't get into playing a franchise without having my prospects. I've thought about just recreating them in a new franchise but it wouldn't be the same.

                Re: Franchise plans

I've sat out of The Show last 2 years due to no time. With ability to take franchise saves over has me giddy.

So I plan on running with my Orioles and looking or an NL team to build up. Right now looking at Reds or Pirates. If somehow both my team's make the World Series I will only play with Orioles.

I play every MLB game and every other Double A game. This should take me until December to complete.

The plan is to wait for WTNY rosters in June. I will do all the MLB moves until I'm caught up in real time and then go into my own universe for the future iterations.

                  Re: Franchise plans

Never really found year to year saves interesting. Always liked the feeling of going as deep as I can in my Yankees franchise for 12 months, and then starting fresh every March.

So that's what I'll do. I'll start a new Yankees franchise like I've done every Spring since MVP 2005 (after OSFM comes out, of course) and play every game of 2017 and then sim and manage as much as I can until MLBTS 18.

However, this year, I'm considering running 2 franchises at the same time. One, my Yankees franchise to play every game, and then a second all sim franchise that I might carry over to future installments. Not sure which team for this, maybe the Yankees again, maybe something new. Any suggestions?

I'll start a Tigers franchise, because that's my team, and probably a really bad rebuilding team. Maybe the Braves or Padres.

                        Quite simple for me.

Will carry over The Matheny Manifesto A Cardinals Fantasy Franchise currently in April of Year 2 and my 1987 Yankees Franchise The Quest For Donny Baseball now entering Year 3 after a gut wrenching 3-2 series ALDS defeat to the dreaded Red Sox.

Y2Y saves are simply amazing and it is shocking other sports games (cough cough Madden) have not followed suit!

I play the entire 162 game schedule for the Mets all the way through the WS, as I have since back in the MVP days. I have kept my stats over the years for AL/NL MVP, Cy Young, ROTY, GG, SS etc. the Top 5 in the major statistical category in the NL and AL. And I also keep stats for the my Mets Franchises over the years. I started doing this in 2001, and have continued every year since. I downloaded Knight's 2000 roster back on MLB the Show 2010 and played the 2000 season. So I have all of my stats for the last 16 years. Call me crazy, or a serious baseball nerd...

My guess is IRL the Braves will be the most improved team in the NL and I don't see how any team can be worse than the Padres. With the pitching staff by committee the Padres are assembling they will have to bring in a real life Padre to bless the pitching mound before each game.

Question - do you use the DH in your franchise(s)?
