Flashback to early 70's when I was stationed in San Diego. A woman who sat in the left field seats would being a cow bell to the games and ring it frequently. No offense to SNL but it got annoying fast. Then I discovered I could get box seats behind the visitor dugout for $2.50 - major improvement. :-)

As a Braves fan, I've never been more excited about the start of a season than this year. I drive by Suntrust Park everyday on my way home and it looks terrific. I know it will look that great in MLB '17 as well. I said all that just to say, this years game has me super stoked and we have next to no details.est 1978

I am sure it will look great but how accurate can it really be since it's brand new? I bet all of the LED boards and jumbotron will not be very accurate in the game until 18.As a Braves fan, I've never been more excited about the start of a season than this year. Re: MLB The Show 17 Live Twitch Stream and Developer Blog Schedule Revealed
Braves have put out several videos with walk-throughs of what SunTrust Park looks like. Also, the renders drawing is pretty close to what it looks like right now. I don't think this will be a Citi Field situation back when it was added to "The Show".
Edit: I should add that I'm not sure if that would be sufficient in order to ensure accuracy without going inside of SunTrust Park and taking pictures/videos tho.

Re: MLB The Show 17 Live Twitch Stream and Developer Blog Schedule Revealed
Oh man, this is such a pet peeve of mine and I completely forgot about it until you mentioned it. If I'm winning by 10 and I hit a HR to make it 13, the next AB... "Let's flash back to the middle innings, this was a turning point here, a three-run HR"... There's no variation.. Just because he hit a 3-run HR they are just banking that it was a turning point in the game...Presentation
I'm hoping for the love of God, that flashback highlight during the game has expanded past the 2007 "hey guys he hit a HR in inning 3" please show some great catches, awesome throw, doubleplay, great strikeout sequence, or a payoff pitch in a clutch moment.
Another one that irks me is if the game is a blowout and someone on the losing team hits a 2-run HR while still being blown out and the next AB they flash back... "Without a doubt one of the plays of the game"... When it had absolutely no effect on the outcome lol.
If they were able to tweak little things like this, I'd be soooooo happppyyyyyComment

Don't go to Citi Field if that's the case. Shame, place is gorgeous...Flashback to early 70's when I was stationed in San Diego. Buck stole that and altered it from the great Bob uecker. But ya that three man booth didn't work well I agree. Dan and tabby lolI'll admit I wasn't a fan when he first started doing Jays broadcasts but over the past couple of years he's grown on me. I love his HR calls,"Get up ball, get out of here!"
Oh well, to each their own.
By the way the Jays tried some games with a three man booth adding Shulman to the broadcast. While I like Shulman as well I'm not a fan of the three man team unless there is a great chemisty between the announcers.
Buck was in a baseball game triple play 2001.
That game had the greatest arcade homerun derby of all time

Re: MLB The Show 17 Live Twitch Stream and Developer Blog Schedule Revealed
Questions that need to be asked in next weeks twitch blog gameplay stream.
1. Has anything be done to fix the issue where the ball hangs to long in the air compared to real life ball physics?
2. Has anything been done to cut down on so many little hits into the ground in front of home plate?
3. Has anything been done to stop the catcher from popping up from the Crouch Position way to fast to catch and field balls?
4. This is sort of gameplay related has Fatigue been improved so players do not get tried as fast and need to be rested more often in Season and Franchise mode compared to real life?
Can anyone think of anything else as far as gameplay is concerned?Last edited by tnixen; 02-01-2017, 01:09 PM.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 17 Live Twitch Stream and Developer Blog Schedule Revealed
Fix the interleague scheduling. Year to year the same teams are scheduled. Fix the constant line drives off the pitcher and he seldom goes out with an injury. I mean how often does a pitcher really get hit. Maybe once a week? It happens in almost every played game. If a pitcher takes a line drive off his head or pitching arm they arent alright. Last year was better but performance needs to mean something in regression. Not all older players suck in their late 30's. Look at Adrian Beltre. If he is hitting and having a good season why does he regress 10 points over the season? Obviously age isnt playing a partQuestions that need to be asked in next weeks twitch blog gameplay stream.
