Which teams in MLB The Show 17 you looking forward to use?

In my franchise I always lean toward a low budget team which is struggling. I'm leaning toward the Padres this time. Their front office has bungled that team unbelievably bad.

I have been, am and will always be a Jays player.

However, if I were to step outside my fandom and remove personal team preferences and rivalries from the equation, Cleveland Indians would be on the top of the list this year. Mets, Red Sox, Jays, Cubs and Rockies would all be on the short list.

I have been, am and will always be a Jays player.

i like using my team the jays as well, but the problem i tend to have, is i never want to trade my guys away. where as if i use a different team then i really have no problem moving pieces. Personally, i also enjoy playing as the Seattle Mariners and Cincinnati Reds.

I always have been a twins fan and love using them in games. Over the last 3/4 years, the core group of guys that had been winning consistently had been gutted from the team. Now all that is left is a team with a lot of players with HUGE upside. Our GM and coaches can draft and scout very well. The issue lies with the coaches inability to develop the talent. I would use them in game to bring some championships back to the twin cities

Marlins are my team in real life and I always play with them.

Rockies are my secondary team who I'm more free to make changes to and try and improve them. I have a hard time making trades and changes to my Marlins because I crave playing them close to reality so the Rockies are the team I take over to try and improve.

My third level of teams that I'll enjoy using for occasional one off games are the Blue Jays, the Dbacks, the Rays and the Mariners.

how do you plan to build your marlins if you start a new franchise? would you develop in house a ACE or would you trade away for a Ace? (RIP Fernandez). Jose was one of the reasons i found Marlins Intriguing to play but never really got deep into a season with them.

Cubs as always and I think I'm going to play as the Indians the second team. If I decide on another team that is super young then maybe I will use the Padres.

Actually you just gave me a great idea. I am going to use the most updated OSFM or Hybrid end of season roster I can find and make sure I keep Jose Fernandez on the Marlins, create a franchise, do not play a single game in spring training, save the file and Y2Y it over to MLB 17.

Marlins are my #2 team (Yankees forever) and I would like to play what “if” Jose never went on that boat that fateful night. I want to see his career unfold (he is also in my Cardinals fantasy franchise as the staff ace for the Pirates).

Dont players who retire come off the roster when transferring Y2Y?
Like David Ortiz, wont he be replaced with a generic player or is that not how Y2Y works?

Ahhhh I so remember that. If he comes off due to his demise that will be a bummer. Also The Pirates in my fantasy franchise will lose their staff ace.
