    AKA, the guy you posted.

I'm not saying they're perfect. And by no means are the lighter skinned guys as good looking to me as the darker skinned dudes, they still look like they're from 16 personally. What I've been saying is that the guys I posted are pretty hard to tell apart from the real face scans (within reason, and I'm mostly referring to the second guy, because he looks fantastic IMO). I was referring to the 4 I posted when I said having a hard time telling BTW, most of the rest of them were average, like you said, which is why I picked the 4 I picked. I mostly responded to you to show you those 4.
    Fair enough

To me they still look as if you'll easily be able to spot them out from the real players but they do still look really good for created players

Agree to disagree and all that right?

That aside, the farther we get away from the PS3 I'm sure they'll keep getting better. Not even NBA 2K has that great of CAP's IMO

During the facebook stream, when he was going through the list of teams to show us examples of player faces, he scrolled right past the Braves to show Dee Gordon. I shed a tear! Wanted to see Freddie Freeman!

All they need is expansion mode/team creation for franchise and a big story thing for RTTS like NBA 2K or FIFA and I'll be able to die happy

(guess we'll see what RTTS has this year, I'm excited I'll tell you that)

He skipped right on past the Angels too and Mike Trout and I only caught a slight glimpse I feel your pain.

Imagine having an accurate Mike Trout face scan in this game. This would be a first to my knowledge. Let's hope they tossed him into the scanner.

I'm pretty sure Mike already has a face scan in the game

But yeah Mike's face has looked a little off in past iterations but I'm willing to chalk that up to the lighting. I bet that 17 will have fixed that and he'll look spot on! The Scherzer and Rizzo comparisons blew me away and they had the same scan. No doubt that Trout will do the same.

Honestly, you'd be surprised how much a good lighting system will do for a model in game. Good lighting can make a bad model look good, while bad lighting can make a good model look bad. Lighting and shaders can bring the best out of things. I'm sure that almost every face scan will look spectacular as the ones we've seen so far. And it has me pumped for March 28th

Mike Trout never had a face scan. In fact he's refused to have his face scanned (When SCEA shows up in spring to do it. It's not mandatory for the players to have their face scanned either.). Also, SCEA has asked Mike Trout to do some things in the past and he's always declined.

Well, then he has a pretty good looking face then without a face scan honestly. Wonder why he declined it?

How do you know he refused to have his face scanned?

It looks scanned to me, just not that good of a scan, it's definitely not a generic face. And i don't think the artist started creating faces from scratch (like Kris Bryant last year) until last year.

They have said that he wants nothing to do with the game.

I always thought it was Todd Frazier who refused to have his face scanned? Then again, I suppose multiple players didn't want to take part for whatever their reason was.
