The BP jersey slot was always used for the spring training uniforms so I'd imagine it's the same and they'll be the new spring training jerseys that came out last year

Just to further examine the color issue: We know google has bad photos of every stadium, which is why I recommended a special person to take high-quality photos from the community or for the devs to go to the stadiums and do it when they can if they can.

But here is a really bad looking photo of Target Field on the internet: it's overcast like the previous one but not as accurate:



This photo is a weird green for one, and it has no detail or anything else that would help someone texture grass on a field. It looks greener than the game for sure, but the color is totally off from real life. It is overcast in this photo, but there is a haze over it and the grass does not look right at all. It's much more vibrant in real life even when overcast. A touch darker possibly too. This is clearly a bad photo not worth taking into consideration.

Now here is one that more resembles what one might actually see at Target Field in real life on a sunny day:



You might have to adjust your TV, but at 32 color my calibrated set shows the second photo to be much more line with reality on normal day in the spring summer or fall when the sun is out. It's still not very good detail, and the color is not perfect, but a decent random shot from the internet for easy and fast looks right now. And to me it doesn't look that off from what I see in reality at the field.

The second photo is what I hope at some point this game is striving to hit. Or even more accurate with much better quality photos even. We really need that pop and realism back on the fields. I believe it would do wonders to sell the game along with animations and tuning the front end graphics. When you get this a bit more on the photorealistic side more people are going to come on board as they always do when graphics blow minds.

And right now it's kind of stuck in a bad gear in this one area. Kind of like your 'eyes' last year. Those were pretty last gen looking. But now this year you guys have amazing eyes in the players. It makes a big difference to me and a lot of other people.

I'm sorry but did anyone else spot the 4 time gold glove winner and 2016 NL MVP sub text on player intro? Also I noticed a career high for RBIs on one of the players. Can this finally mean that player awards are being tracked?

Graphics and player models look amazing. That grass thing is gorgeous. Thank you Ramone.

Those bottom black ST jerseys are IN GAME. That is what i'm saying. I saw them.


Go back and check the preview videos when Wil Myers is warming up in box, and Posey is squatting behind him. It's a black jersey. if you look closely at the dugout, you'll see Bruce Bochy wearing the San Francisco black jacket. But the player in the dugout has the ST jerseys on.

It's brief. But they're there. And they don't look like the 3/4 new BP jerseys.

Dudes, I could kiss y'all! I'm such a CAP fiend for The Show. But I hate how player's arms and bodies never look distinct. Sweet Lord, I'm going to waste so much time fine tuning this stuff out!

Im not easily sold on anything but jesus this is the way to turn me into a diehard fan boy. Just give us continuous gameplay as an alternative to fast play and let some of us enjoy every moment of this. Otherwise, I have nothing to say.

Check out this video on Gameplay Improvements, and skip to the exact 4:00 minute mark. Look at Posey squatting to the left, then look to the far right at the dugout.


They look like the ST jerseys. If not than it's the BP jerseys from last year, blacked out, with an orange SF on them.

Going back an looking at it you might be right. The Ball Boy is wearing the what looks like the ST top. Hard to tell though. can't see any piping.

Oh I totally agree. It's a hard look. Definitely. But it's a 'maybe'.


Maybe some teams have ST jerseys and others the straight BP jersey.

But it specifically looks like it has a SOLID ORANGE "SF" on the jersey. That specifically makes it the ST jersey.

Or it's another SCEA/Style Guide error. But that SF logo is solid orange on black. Not black on black like the alternate.

In terms of grass in your average sunny game. Just look at FIFA. If you could replicate their vivid grass that would be perfect. Obviously they don't have progressive lighting, but their day games look great.

What Botchy is wearing in that video is not the BP jersey. It's one of the out dated manager jackets. They really should have updated the manager apparel by now. Those jackets are always an eyesore.

The more I think about the BP/ST jerseys the more confused I am that they didn't change it from BP slots to ST jerseys. They have the same info that we have on the jerseys. They had plenty of time to make the change. They have spring training in franchise mode, the ST jerseys should have taken priority. The new BP shirts aren't event jerseys they are warmups. The more I think about the BP/ST jerseys the more confused I am that they didn't change it from BP slots to ST jerseys. They have the same info that we have on the jerseys. If you look at the 4:00 mark of the video the Ball boy is actually wearing an alternate top,(Has the orange SF on it) but idk if it's a ST top I can't see the piping down the front and you can't see it on Posey with his catcher gear on.
