I'm so pumped for this game!! Come on March 28... I can't wait to watch March 2 stream! btw, for those who have a roku, the twitch channel for it is amazing, watch the streams on Roku if you have one!

If I'm not mistaken when the Marlins first changed to these new uniforms they intended to have a silver piping alongside the orange piping on the home white uniforms. By the time the uniforms were officially unveiled they decided to remove the silver piping. I'd imagine somewhere in the style guide the silver piping still exists because I have seen the silver piping in other places even in the past versions of mlb the show. With that said mlb the show 16 did not have the silver piping so I'm surprised it'd show up in the show 17. And no the Marlins have not added the piping to their uniform for this season so that's not what happened here.

The face design engine is the same as it's been for years, so I don't see how we're going to see anything different in that regard. More hair and body type choices will help somewhat, but hopefully changes can be made to the actual face creation next year to make them truly look indistinguishable from the face scans.

Maybe your eyes need to be checked. The entire face design engine has been scrapped and we started over. Head archetypes we started from scratch, eyes we started from scratch, skin tones started from scratch, hair styles we started from scratch.

Maybe your eyes need to be checked. The entire face design engine has been scrapped and we started over. Head archetypes we started from scratch, eyes we started from scratch, skin tones started from scratch, hair started from scratch.

I can see the eyes are different (like with the scanned players), it just seems to me like the facial possibilities spring from the same general groundwork as before. I dunno, maybe they'll look different when the skin tones are fully installed, as you said they weren't yet in the video.

The actual players look a lot better, but the CAP faces do not seem as improved. While Ramone was randomizing they all seem a little mutant-like, weird bulging eyes and unrealistic looking features. Though I have seen the same sorta thing in other games with similar character creation and through manually tweaking sliders are able to make something adeuqate.

I am guessing that will be the case for MLB 17, though I do think their will still be a noticeable difference between the quality of CAP's and actual face scanned player models.

I'm sure glad that I don't care about creating players. I always like to play as real players, not fictional. Hence why i never play Road to the Show or career mode for any sports game.
