I will say this. They have to add more Cubs and other teams retro uniforms. I mean they give the Cubs an all white and all grey uniform, but no 1908, 1919, 1944, hell the 1978-81 blue with pin stripes road uni doesn't even make it in. I don't know how hard it is to make jerseys, but more is always better. Get rid of the generic 1902 all white and grey ones. The Red Sox have those too besides other teams. That is a wasted spot.
Games looking great otherwise.

Bet those uniforms are not in the style guide

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but did anyone else notice how great the cleats look this year? Higher definition scans, PBR to the material? They just look tons better.

I'm big into retro uniforms too. And I wish they would get rid of the all white all gray super basic looking uniforms from the early 1900s and add more 60s -00s. I'm very surprised the Cubs still don't have blue with red brim away cap from the sosa years.

My one minor disappointment is that the Show has never used the Indians all red uniforms for the 1976 road throwback uni that is in the game. In fact the game pairs up that red jersey with gray pants which I don't think is accurate (not sure the Indians ever had gray pants from 1975-77). But overall the game looks great. Really enjoyed seeing some of the animations on defense shown.

Look at the sun reflecting off the buildings!
A few years back the buildings outside of stadiums didn't even respond to sun/shadows.

Yes the lighting on the buildings looks absolutely great this year. Hope that window reflection bug is just a WIP issue and wont be in the final game. Ramone said art freeze was yesterday, so hopefully this was from a slightly older build.

HOLY COW!!....3 things:

Awesome, Awesome and more Awesome....no but seriously 3 things...

1) Sound of the ball off the bat - it just sounds so crisp and real.

2) The Shadows - love how it looks as if it can really affect you when your batting and how the shadows have progresed through each inning

3) Catcher Cam - i thought i was not going to like but i can see myself using

I consider these 'the little things'...great job. Can't wait Monday for the commentary/presentation stuff.

I keep saying we will see Statcast in there.....and with it showing bat speed after every hit, it pretty much seals that thought for me.

It was literally a 1/10 second frame when they were choosing settings for the Sox Rockies game. End of the stream-ish.

Edit: 1:13:35 to about 1:14:00 is the 30 second timeframe where it happens. Blink and you'll miss it.

I'm guessing Adidas batting gloves and Mizuno fielding gloves & batting gloves didn't make it in.

In the Pads, Twins video... Renfroe didnt have Adidas batting gloves on which he wears.

In the Red Sox, Rockies video... Sale didnt have Mizuno fielding glove and Desmond wasnt wearing Mizuno batting gloves, which they both use.
