They've added a variety of different missions such as daily, epic, spotlight, etc.

Of note, it looks like there are a variety of ways to get the stuff you want. Great for people like me that just play one game mode.

Third Royals alt is the Hispanic Heritage jersey Los Reales

As much as I appreciate more uniforms, this seems like an odd one to add. I'm pretty sure the Royals only wore those for one game last year, so I wonder why that jersey would get added over any other one-time jerseys (i.e. 4th of July, Memorial Day, Mother's Day, etc).

Not complaining, just curious.

Easy explanation. They said they'd add every jersey in the style guide. One off special occasion jerseys like mothers day and fathers day and fourth of July are not actually in the style guide. I see your point too but as long as they add in all the jerseys that are regularly used first I'm OK with them adding less used jerseys like the Hispanic Heritage ones.

People that were asking, the reason why the Expos aren't in the game is because Sony does not have the license for it

So the only 2 jerseys that didn't seem to make the game are the Arizona Los DBacks Hispanic Heritage jersey and the Padres Way Back Wednesday 98 throwbacks. The Padres ones may not be in the style guide though even though they were worn regularly last year because they are still just throwbacks. I did enjoy seeing the Padres had both camo jerseys brown and blue.
